Hi, I'm Jools, also known as Julie, Julie-bug, Julie-bug-bee and Bug-bee.  I have many names because I have many unique characteristics.

My brother and I were adopted out in 2002 to a relative shut-in.  She loved us so much and we adapted from semi-feral to knowing and loving just her.  I never saw another human being for 12 whole years.  But then my wonderful Mommy passed away right before Christmas 2014.  I was so scared of all the people coming in and out, all that noise that I hid.  No one found me for two weeks!  I was so scared.  But someone called my original foster mom so my brother, Romeo, and I went back to her.  After 12 years we didn't really remember her but she's being very patient with me so I'm learning she's okay.

My brother is very sick.  He has major thyroid problems and he's deaf, but other than not having all my teeth, I'm shiny and healthy and petite.

I would really appreciate a quiet home because loud noises and quick movements tend to scare me.  I am very quiet too.  I purr but quietly.  I have defined my spaces.  When scared, I hid behind the toilet.  New Mom calls me her Toilet Troll.  When I want to be petted and ruffled, I roll on a carpet sample by the door.  When I want to sleep I go in another spot.  When I want to be out and "socialize" I lay on a towel New Mom put down for me.  I only play with Mousey.  I can only eat canned food because I don't have many teeth.  I walk by New Mommy, just to tease her.  After I walk by, I stick out my hind leg, posing reminiscent of a Vegas showgirl.

I am timid and I will need someone patient cuz I will hide.  You know the old saying, "You can't teach an old cat new tricks."  I want loving, but I am still grieving the loss of my Mommy.

Kathy M was her foster parent.
