Meet Scout

If you are looking for a friendly lap cat, then come on over and meet Scout. To him, no one is a stranger. All you have to do is sit down near him and he will be in your lap!  He loves everybody and everything and is very playful and talkative. See for yourself by watching his video! He gets along with other cats too.  He is a perfect gentleman about his litter box and uses a scratching post.

All these great things about Scout but he will be passed over by many potential adopters because of the color of his fur. It is a fact that black cats and dogs are the last ones adopted and some never get adopted because the light-colored "pretty" animals are preferred. And that is really sad.

Thankfully, Scout is not aware that he is being passed over. He just spends his days being his awesome self. Happy to warm the lap of anybody who happens to stop by and say hello.
