Meet Cindy Lou

Hi there! Cindy Lou is my name and do I have a story for you. Somehow I ended up at the local shelter with what appeared to be a broken back leg. They weren't sure what happened. Luckily my foster Mom came in, looked into my big blue eyes and said she wanted to take me home. At the vet's office it was discovered that my leg was not broken but that the head of my femur did not fit into the hip socket. The vet did not know how or when this happened to me but figured I had been living as a 3 legged dog for a while. I couldn't use my leg.

Fast forward and I just had surgery to repair my femur so that I can use all 4 legs! It is going to take me a while to figure out that I can use that leg but I am sure we can do it together.

Anyway, a little about me...I am friendly (to everyone!), silly, goofy, playful, curious, a snuggle-bug, love to go for walks and car rides. There are other dogs and cats in my foster home and I do great with them all. I would love a playmate if you already have a dog or cat. Most of all, I love to love. Oh yeah...I am good in my crate and go potty outside like a good girl. My foster Mom says I am a wonderful dog who is easy to fall in love with. She would like nothing more than the perfect forever home for me. Could that be with you? Please come meet me soon.
