Meet Gracie, a super lovable 2 year old Lab Retriever mix. She loves snuggles, belly rubs and gives the best hugs! She is housebroken and crate trained. At 60 pounds, she thinks she is still a lap dog. She will occasionally jump on furniture but will get right down when asked to. Gracie lives with three kids and a Pug and she is very kind to all. She is getting better on a leash and loves to go for walks. Her favorite toys are small stuffed squeaky animals – she loves to carry them with her wherever she goes! She is also learning how to play fetch. Gracie is very timid and scared of men. With patience, treats and love she does come around but will still bark at her foster dad every time he walks in. Due to this fear, she will only be adopted to a single female or female couple. She will also require someone who is willing to work with her and a trainer about this issue. She follows the kids and her foster mom and just wants to be included with the family. She has been working on some basic obedience, and loves the treats and praise. Guaranteed to make you smile, Gracie is a ray of sunshine! She can be a bit clumsy and goofy but she is also everything sweet.
Shannan F was her foster parent.
