Hi there! I am Roxy and I am so glad you want to know more about me. I was found as a stray by a nice family who called KAR to take me in and they did. I have been getting to know so many of the nice volunteers here and am happy to be in a foster home with other pets. I am good with cats (they are kind of scary, but interesting) and I just want to play with the other dogs. I think a playmate closer to my own size (35+ pounds) will be best if you have another dog. I like laid-back and playful dogs. I love people too and if I don't know where you are I tend to bark a little until I see you. I am crate-trained and will quiet down and sleep nicely in my crate.
I did come into the rescue with an old injury to my rear right hip. Only I know how I got it but the vet is going to try and make me feel better so it doesn't hurt so much. It is possible that later in life I will need to be on pain meds. So far I am happiest with a nice warm bed and people who love me. If you choose to meet me and think we could be friends then I won't let you down.
Please come meet me soon.
Love,
Roxy
P.S. Roxy will be available for adoption around May 25.
Rebecca K was her foster parent.
