Meet Ashika

Domestic Short Hair Mix

Approx DOB: 7/01/2011
Gender: Male
Microchipped

Ashika, meaning "hope" was named so by the kind woman that spotted him sitting in the window of an abandoned house. She knew the residents had moved, but then saw a cat. Days went by and no one came back, so she called the landlord who just opened the door and let him out.

Ashika went next door to this wonderful lady's home, covered in fleas and hungry, looking for help. She contacted KAR and Ashika is now safe in foster care looking for his forever home - a home where he will never be abandoned again.

He is a calm and loving boy, so soft, and purrs the moment you touch him. He loves giving gentle head bumps and napping in the sun. He doesn't ask for much - just wants to love and be loved. He would be fine to be the only cat in the house or have a male cat companion.

Gail M was his foster parent.
