Bitsy is a Special Needs pet with Kidney diet The beautiful and affectionate Bitsy was found roaming from home to home looking for whatever anyone would give her. It's hard to tell now when looking at her gorgeous fur, but she had lost quite a lot of it, was emaciated due to fleas and the beginning of kidney trouble, and weighed just over 5 pounds. Despite all that, she maintained her loving personality and was happy to be nursed back to health by a loving KAR volunteer.
Bitsy very much enjoys anyone that will love on her, likes to sit in your lap, and will always return the affection you give her with extra!
She will need to eat dry food formulated for kidney healthy and a mix of regular wet food with kidney health wet food.
Abbey T is her foster parent. The adoption fee for Bitsy is $40. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted, please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Bitsy. A volunteer will contact you within approximately 48-72 hours.
All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, a booster vaccine may be necessary after adoption which will be the responsibility of the adopter. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. Most cats and kittens are microchipped when they are spayed or neutered.
