Meet Marge

Margie is the most wonderful puppy we have had the pleasure of fostering! She’s pretty much fully potty trained (but will need some grace when she’s transplanted into her forever home to re-learn in a new environment), has “sit” and “come” mastered and is crate-trained! We have been working on leave-it with the cats because she just wants to kiss them all day long if she’s allowed. The good news is that she’s very easily redirected. Marge is VERY food motivated and loves to try to be her best self but sometimes puppying gets in the way. She’s also a big lover of cuddles and seems to sense when a human needs a cuddle. She has found herself in many laps just trying to win over every human she’s ever met! She currently resides in a home within a neighborhood with our 9 year old human child, a few cats, her sister puppy and our resident dog, Hippo. The more the merrier she says! Being in the mix is the key to her heart. She is loyal, loving and entertaining. Something to consider is that Margie can be a barker with unfamiliar noises and will grow to be a decent size pup, so I don’t know if an apartment is her ideal environment. Other than that, I think Marge could fit in seamlessly with most folks as long as they’re willing to put the time, love and training into her. She’s very smart and incredibly fun to work with!
